How the GSM signal booster works：
The receive antenna is installed in an area where you already know you have good gsm signal (3 bars on your phone minimum).

This antenna will receive the gsm signal and send it down the coaxial cable to the gsm signal booster which is placed in the room you want coverage . The gsm signal booster then amplifies this signal and transmits it into the room. Many mobile phones and laptops nearby can then communicate with the improved gsm signal. When a mobile phone transmits during a call, the signal is received by the amplifier, boosted and then transmitted back to the mobile operator tower through the outside antenna.

The StellaRoom900 gsm signal booster is designed for residential use, with coverage up to 300m² (open space). This equates to a standard sized room.

Reminder regulation : It is not possible to install and use a GSM repeater (or UMTS) in France without having the appropriate administrative authorization or without the formal agreement of the operators involved in the frequencies emitted by the transponder. Failure to comply with these provisions exposes the violator to criminal sanctions under Article L 39-1.
